Do you deliver?

Local delivery (in The Bronx, Manhattan, Brooklyn & Queens) is available for orders over $50. Delivery charges begin at $10 and vary based on mileage. Smaller orders can be picked up in The Bronx.

Pickup and delivery times vary and must be agreed to at the time of booking. Changes to delivery/pickup schedule may be accommodated, if possible,up to 24 hours prior. Same day changes to delivery/pickup will not be honored, except in an emergency.

Can my order be shipped?

All cake jars and cookies can be shipped anywhere in the U.S. (Yay!) Shipping charges will apply. We do not ship cupcakes or layer cakes. Due to the fragile nature of these products, we cannot guarantee they would arrive intact and no one likes a smashed up cake, right?

Can you guarantee my delivery date?

While we make every effort to anticipate delivery times, we cannot guarantee a date of delivery after the package is in transit. We ship via USPS priority 2-3 day service.

How big are the cake jars?

Standard size jars hold two cupcakes plus two layers of creamy, delicious frosting. Half-size jars hold one cupcake and a top layer of frosting.

How far in advance do I need to order?

The earlier the better!

Generally speaking, most small orders (under 50 servings) with no customization require only 1 week notice.

Larger orders and any custom requests require 3 weeks minimum lead time; this may vary depending on the intricacy/size of the order. Wedding cakes and other special event requests usually require additional planning and thus longer lead time.

Rush orders, if they can be accommodated, will incur an additional fee.

Why is a deposit required to secure my order?

Preparing for and creating cakes takes time. In order to provide all clients with excellent service, proper planning is needed. A deposit of 50% of the total price must be made at the time your order is placed, no exceptions. Deposit invoices will be sent immediately and must be paid within 48 hours or they will be canceled. Orders are not considered confirmed without receipt of deposit. Rush orders that are accepted must be paid in full at the time your order is placed.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept secure payments via PayPal to our email address: orders@theuptownvegan.com. You do not need to have a PayPal account in order to pay invoices or remit payment.
